How long will my number take to go live?

We aim to connect non geographic numbers within 1 to 2 working days. 90% order go live the same day. As soon as your services are connected, our Customer Services department will email you to let you know.

Can I keep landline that the number is pointed to?

Yes! The number we provide you will just sit on top of your existing service. People will still be able to call your landline or mobile and the number will not interfere with any existing service that you already have.

Can I route my incoming calls to a mobile?

Yes you can, our call management tool allows you to route incoming calls to any UK 07 mobile number. Routing calls through to a mobile will incur additional costs.

What are non geographic numbers?

Non geographic numbers (NGN) are numbers that give no indication of your geographic location. Our NGN ranges consist of the following prefixes - 0800, 0845, 0844, 0844, 0870, 0871, 0333 and 070.

Can a non geographical number be called from abroad?

Most countries will route the call to your number but it is not guaranteed. If you are looking to advertise a phone number abroad please call us on 0845 116 0000 and we will be able to advise you of your best option.

Why are Gold numbers more expensive?

Gold numbers are running out fast. It is similar to the DVLA and car registrations. Companies need memorable numbers to either allow them to stand out from their competition or to place into radio and TV adverts. The memorable number allows the consumer to remember the number during a very short advert. As numbers are running out the price starts to climb.

When I call out people see the number as my phone number?

No but you can speak to your existing phone line provider about adding a service called CLIP (Calling Line Identity Presentation) to your existing landline. This will allow you to call out and present your number as your phone number. Alternatively, you can withhold your number.

Can I change where my number is pointing to myself?

Yes. We have an online portal that will allow you to manage where your number is routing to. There is no extra cost to use!
